CURRENT PROJECTS
Our organization currently focuses on the South Manchester area of Jamaica. This beloved region is rich in its people, beauty, and culture, however, it is under-resourced in ways that create hardship for many.
Below are some exciting current projects that we are working on. This is your opportunity to share this information with others and get involved today!
South Manchester
In times of crisis, every second counts. The United Rosetta Miriam Project is on a mission to enhance emergency care services in multiple districts. By acquiring an ambulance, we aim to ensure swift and reliable transportation for those in urgent need. Your contribution can make a life-saving difference!
South Manchester
No one should go to bed hungry. We are committed to providing meal and food provisions to those in need, especially the homebound and vulnerable mothers and children. Your donation will bring nourishment and comfort to those facing hardships.
Pratville, Manchester
Education is a key to unlocking opportunities, but hunger shouldn’t be a barrier to learning. Our Breakfast Program at Winston Jones High School aims to address food insecurity, a prevalent issue affecting attendance and concentration. Your support will provide nutritious meals, empowering students to thrive academically.
Asia, Manchester
Those who protect and serve need our support. Doors, windows, light fixtures, a bathroom, and other repairs are urgently needed so that law officers can rest and return to duty refreshed. Currently, officers must travel to a nearby parish (Clarendon) in order to sleep and this is time-consuming, taxing, and costly. Having a functioning barracks will allow the force to be on time, ready for service, and prepared to respond in case of emergency.

Education should be a right, not a privilege. Sadly, many talented youth in South Manchester face financial barriers. Our Micro Scholarships initiative seeks to remove school fees as an obstacle, empowering local youth to pursue their dreams. Your generosity can be the catalyst for a brighter future.

Special care is needed for one of our community members with special needs. Physical therapy costs are immense and living conditions need to be made decent so that he may live in relative comfort. Errol is partially paralyzed and is unable to care for himself or maintain his home. A bathroom is needed as well as a deep cleaning, a new bed, junk removal, new floors, new doors and windows, and more. Your help in providing this for him is deeply appreciated and all contributions are welcomed.
